In the third unit, I looked to the suburbs of my childhood and my journeys for inspiration, discovering an interest in hybrid spaces where natural environments meet human culture, or what is now called limbo and our complex perception of wilderness. I try my best to focus on landscape creation, emphasizing the dialectical unity of landscape, space and place, and thereby extending the power of images triggered by landscape as a "cultural intermediary".
In June, thanks to the larger space, I started to create "a sky full of stars" and "christmas night"
I feel like this is a relatively successful painting that I've done here. I think this is my other narrative, and I really hope that this kind of large-format painting can bring more content. Able to be very open to interpretation, or suggestive, capable of evoking a wide range of experiences.
The barbican, it's a really fun environment and I spent a lot of time in it this summer. He is out of tune with the whole style of London,
Because of the forest, the scenery of the building blends naturally. A forest passed through a building, and I watched a lot of old films on film, some indoors, which was very interesting. The picture quality of film films is really unmatched. You may even forget to pay attention to the plot when watching it. The film images on the screen sometimes make you feel like you are admiring a painting. Sometimes when watching from the square on the top floor, you can even observe how quickly the sky darkens, which will give you another feeling while watching the performance.
In unit 3, I made a lot of frames for large paintings in the carpentry workshop.
